July 12, 1957 ~ April 28, 2011
Donna Kay Gilliam was born July 12, 1957 in Roseland, Il. She passed from this earth April 28, 2011 at her family home at Crow Mountain surrounded by family. Donna received her degree in Accounting at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga and was a Certified Public Accountant. Her church home was the House of Prayer at Crow Mountain. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson from 5 PM until 9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 1, at 2 PM at the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson with Rev. Jimmy Bohannon officiating. Burial will follow in the Inglis Cemetery. Donna was preceded in death by her infant daughter Monica Dawn Sanders, her son Francis Chadwick Gilliam and her father Marion Francis Gilliam. She is survived by her mother, Allie Elizabeth Gilliam of Fackler, sister Susan Gilliam Davis of Toney, AL, brother Michael Francis Gilliam, Sr. of Moulton, AL, sister Betty Gilliam Parcus of Monrovia, AL, brother Thomas Leroy Gilliam of Saginaw, MI, sister Shelia Gilliam Boland of Madison, AL, brother Leonard Marion Gilliam of Scottsboro, AL, sister Barbara Denise Gilliam of Madison, AL, half-sister Frances Gilliam Thompson of Scottsboro, AL, half-brother James Earl Gilliam of Waynesboro, GA; 7 nieces, 7 nephews, 5 great-nieces, 9 great-nephews and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to benefit Ovarian Cancer Research or the American Cancer Society.
