Doris Frances Wynne Hamrick, widow of Colonel James Quinton Hamrick of Colorado City, TX, has gone to be with the Lord, after 91 years. She was the daughter of Thomas Armond "T.A." and Betty Mahaffey Wynne of Stevenson, AL. When her husband, Quinton, was alive they traveled with the Air Force all over the world and decided to settle in Jeffries Cove, Stevenson.
She is survived by their triplet sons; Glynne and wife Judy, of Hendersonville, TN; Lynne and wife Cynthia of McMinnville, TN; and Wynne and wife Peggie of Stevenson, AL. She is also survived by many friends and relatives, including five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was an active member of the Stevenson Book Club and the Stevenson First United Methodist Church.
Visitation is 5-7 PM on Saturday and from 1-2 PM on Sunday, February 12 at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson.; the funeral will begin at 2 PM. Interment following at Stevenson City Cemetery.
