Dorothy Geraldine Thompson Kirk, 75 of Stevenson, AL died February 25, 2011 at Huntsville Hospital. "Dot" had worked approximately 20 years as LPN at North Jackson Hospital. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.
Survivors include her six daughters: Patricia (Kenneth) Chance of Vincent, AL, Kaye (Earl) Rollins of Bridgeport, AL, Deborah (Ronnie) Scott of Stevenson, AL, Jennifer (Steve) Lambert of Stevenson, AL, Connie (Bill Phillips) Kirk of Orme, TN, Susan (Joel) Guess of Stevenson, AL; 12 grandchildren: Kim York, Lisa Kirk, Jimmy Howard, Jr., Charles Rollins, James Rollins, Felicia Lambert, Matthew Lambert, Lexes Phillips, Gage Phillips, Anthony Guess, Destiny Guess, Ever Guess; 12 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great-Grandchild and other relatives.
Preceded in death are: her husband Charles Edward Kirk; daughters: Judy Marie Howard and Dorothy Jean Kirk; grandsons: Richard Chance and Kyle Kirk.
Visitation will be Saturday, 10 AM-9 PM CST at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will be Sunday, February 27, at 2 PM CST at the funeral home chapel officiated by Bro. John Gamble and Bro. Frankie Carroll followed by interment at Stevenson City Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com.
