Dorothy Jane Arnold McAllister, 85 of Stevenson, AL, died August 23, 2015 at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro, AL. Visitation will be Monday, 5-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will be Tuesday, August 25, at 2 PM CDT in the funeral home chapel officiated by Wayne McAllister. Interment will be in Longacre Cemetery.
Dorothy was the daughter of the late John W. and Emma Rebecca Wynn Arnold born July 21, 1930 in Jackson County Alabama. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years Horace Felix McAllister; son Horace Felix McAllister, Jr.; sister Edna Arnold.
Survivors include: her children: Gary (Carolyn) McAllister, Dorothy Julia McAllister; granddaughter Shoyna (Jonathan) Alexander; great-grandchildren: Haydn and Holly Alexander.
