Earl “Jake” Jones, age 89 of Hollywood, AL, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2015. He is survived by his son, Ricky (Darlene) Jones of Scottsboro; daughters, Sheba (Gary) Cantrell of Murfreesboro, TN and Jean Jones of Macedonia; grandchildren, Sarah (Jason) Watwood, Kyle (Kristen) Watwood, Brett Cantrell, Kellie McCutchen, and Nick Jones; great-grandchildren, Ben Kirby, Gabin Kirby, Breanna McCutchen, Megan McCutchen, Ethan Jones, Madalyn Jones; brother, Thomas Rae Jones of Hollywood; sister, Una Bradford of Hollywood. He is preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Jones; parents, A.C. and Maude Jones; son, Wayne Jones; brother, Bill Jones; and grandson, Bradley Jones. Visitation for Mr. Jones will be Monday, November 16, 2015 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. The funeral service will be Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Day officiating and burial to follow at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
