Earl Wesley LeRoy's Obituary
Earl Wesley LeRoy, 87 of South Pittsburg, TN, died June 27, 2017 at The Bridge in South Pittsburg. He was the son of the late Charles Quinn and Margie Katherine Hornbeak LeRoy, born August 5, 1929 in Bridgeport, AL. He attended Bridgeport High School. Mr. LeRoy had worked as a cooler operator at Penn Dixie Cement and retired from the City of South Pittsburg Parks and Recreation Department. He was a member of South Pittsburg Church of Christ.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son John Mark LeRoy; sisters: Anna Jane LeRoy and Charlene Tompkins.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years Mary Louise Houchins LeRoy; sons: Wesley Brian (Kathy) LeRoy, Earl Howard (Laura) LeRoy, Charles Thomas (Irene) LeRoy; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren due in August, one of which is due on his birthday; brother Rayford (Virginia) LeRoy; sister Effie Jean Sanders; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday 5-8 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. The Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 30, at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel officiated by Bro. Ron Gilbert. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, TN. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
