Edna Brown Stallings' Obituary
Edna Brown Stallings, 95, passed away on Tuesday, April 14. Her immense faith has been made sight, and she is at home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mrs. Stallings worked at North Jackson Hospital for over 20 years and faithfully served at First Baptist Church of Stevenson in many capacities. She loved her Lord, her family, and her community tremendously. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Stalling; parents, L.E. and Willie Brown; siblings, Kenneth Brown, Ed Brown, R.D. Brown, Billy Ray Brown, and Magalene Smith. She is survived by her son, John and his wife Abby; granddaughter Megan Reid and her husband Joe; grandson Ethan Stallings and his wife Courtney; great-grandchildren Piper, Paisley, Penelope, and Posey Reid, and Beckett and Indiana Stallings; sister Mildred Sebring; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be Friday, April 17 at 11:00 AM., with a service following at 12:00 pm. at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, with Rev. Joe Reid officiating. Interment will be at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Stevenson AL, or Church of the Valley, Hazel Green AL.
