Eleanor Christine Miller's Obituary
Eleanor Christine Miller, age 95 of Scottsboro, AL, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Rosewood Manor Assisted Living. She is a graduate of Jackson County High School, as well as receiving a Bachelor of Science from State Teachers College in Florence, AL, and a Masters of Arts from Peabody College in Nashville, TN. Ms. Miller retired after many years of service from Jacksonville Florida Public Library South Branch. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wiley L. and Ola Thomas Miller, and brothers, Hugh and William Miller. Visitation for Ms. Miller will be Sunday, February 19, 2017 from 1-3 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro, and the funeral service will begin at 3 PM with Dr. Steve Screws officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Many thanks to the administration and staff at Rosewood Manor for their concern and care for Ms. Miller, and also much appreciation to Kindred Hospice.
