Elizabeth Frank's Obituary
Elizabeth Cora Lucille Frank, born on July 10, 1931 in Haleyville, Alabama, passed away on March 15, 2019 in Bridgeport, Alabama. She was 87 years old. She was known to friends and family as nana, granny, granny Frank, Liz, Miss Liz or Lizzie. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Albert Lloyd Frank; her parents Millard "Papaw" Stanford and Pearlie "Memmie" Kennedy Stanford Ayers; and brother James "Butch" Stanford.
She was survived by her children: Connie Rudder (married to Tim Rudder) Danny Frank and his wife Sherry Whitewolf, Janet Herrera and her husband Vince Herrera; her grandchildren: Shawn Rudder and his wife Shea, Josh Rudder and his wife Beth, Gena Rudder, Kyle Herrera and his wife Sandra, and Matthew Herrera; and her
great-grandchildren: Preston Rudder, Ansley Phillips, Jaxon Rudder and Mason Rudder; sister Debbie Love; and her life-long friend, Betty Williams.
As a military wife, she traveled with her husband to Newfoundland, Germany, Florida, New Jersey, Texas, South Carolina and England. She was a social woman who enjoyed card games, bowling and arts and crafts. She and her husband had many close friends with whom they camped and fished with for several years.
A private memorial for the family will be held at the Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, Alabama on March 20, 2019 at 12 noon. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
