Elizabeth Bradford Haynes' Obituary
Elizabeth Bradford Haynes, 79, formerly of Scottsboro, AL passed away peacefully on July 25, 2017, in Huntsville, AL surrounded by her children. Mrs. Haynes spent her life in Scottsboro, AL with the last 4 years being spent in Huntsville to be closer for her children to help care for her. Mrs. Haynes was retired from the Scottsboro City Schools Child Nutrition Program as a lunchroom manager at the Scottsboro Jr. High School. She enjoyed her family, cooking and helping others.
Mrs. Haynes was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Fanny Bradford; brothers Loyd Bradford and Bill Bradford; and sisters Helen Darwin, Juanita (Babe) Smith, Louise Smith, Hazel Bradford, Sue Murphy, and Linda Bradford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lester (Doc) Haynes.
Mrs. Haynes is survived by her son Tim Haynes of Scottsboro and her daughters Sheila Fogle of Harvest and Kim Wallace (Lionel) of Owens Crossroads. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren Katie and Natalie Fogle, and Matthew and Emily Wallace.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 28 5:00 – 8:00 at Rudder Funeral Home, Scottsboro, AL with the funeral service on Saturday, July 29 at 2:00 in Rudder Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow immediately at Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church, Section, AL.
