Ella Jane Walker Lock, 76 of South Pittsburg, TN, died June 3, 2017 at The Bridge of South Pittsburg where she was a resident. Jane was the daughter of the late Willie Lee and Ida Madge King Walker, born October 3, 1940 in Bridgeport, AL. She was a graduate of Bridgeport High School Class of 1958 and Edmondson Business School. Jane had worked at Shaw Industries in South Pittsburg and she had also worked as a physical therapist at South Pittsburg Hospital.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Betty Walker Whitcher.
Survivors include: her sister Wilma Walker Wright of South Pittsburg, TN; nieces: Christine Whitcher (Jesse) Pressley of Long Island, AL, Willene Whitcher (Jim) Woods of FL; great niece Christine (Michael) Armstrong, Mike (Juanita) Woods; 1 great-great nephew and 4 great-great-nieces and other relatives.
Visitation will be Wednesday, 2-8 PM CT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. The Funeral Service will be Thursday, June 8, at 11 AM CT in the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Ronnie Case. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Bridgeport, AL. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
