Estelle Triplett Cureton, 94 of Bridgeport, AL died September 25, 2009 at the home of her daughter in Decatur, AL. Estelle was the last surviving member of Bridgeport High School Class of 1932 and was a member of Bridgeport Church of Christ.
Mrs. Cureton was preceded in death by her husband Walter Cureton; parents John and Johnnie West Triplett.
She is survived by her children: Ann (John) Keahey of Decatur, AL, Rosemary (Charles) Kilpatrick of Savannah, GA, Walter (Merle) Cureton of Lake View, SC; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, 5-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. The funeral service will be Sunday, September 27, at 3 PM CDT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Bro. Roger Comstock. Interment will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Bridgeport, AL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Estelle Cureton to the Lena Cagle Public Library.
