Ethel Pauline Davis Allen, 88 of Chattanooga, TN, formerly of Flat Rock, AL, died June 27, 2011 at her home.
Ethel was the daughter of the late Henry Clay and Jenny Bell Lane Davis born September 24, 1922 in Knoxville, TN. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husvand Virgil Allen; siblings: J.D. and Henry Davis, Reva Baker; and grandson Michael Everett. She was a member of Kingdom Hall Tyner Congregation.
Survivors include her children: Carol Ann (William) Dixon of Chattanooga, TN, Janice (Levoy) Sanders of Rossville, GA, Belle (L.B.) Everett of Chattanooga, TN; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; other relatives. A special thank you to East Tennessee Hospice Staff: Jack, Shanna, Robin, Betty, and David and special friend and caregiver Loretta Hicks.
Visitation will be Tuesday 2-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral will be held Wednesday, June 29, at 3 PM CDT at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Sterne Cemetery.
