Evelyn Daniel Hambrick, 75 of Stevenson, AL, died November 28, 2015 in Huntsville Hospital. Mildred Evelyn was the daughter of the late William Arthur and Mildred Viola Seale Daniel born August 1, 1940 in Scottsboro, AL. Evelyn was a retired spinner from Avondale Mills. She had attended Tri-State Church of God in Bridgeport. She loved to sew and especially loved making quilts. You never left her house empty handed no matter who you were.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Sonny, Guy, Charles, Billy Jack and Billy Ray Daniel.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years James C Hambrick; children: Louise (Mitchell) Coffman, Martha (Mickey) Henegar, Mary (Wayne) Maynor,Larry (Neoka) Hambrick; 6 grandchildren: Trae McMahan, Michelle Manning, Brook Hambrick, Dustin Phillips, Clay Haggard, Coty Henegar; 19 great-grandchildren; sister Nancy Nason; a host of beloved sisters-in- law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Monday 12-9 PM CT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will be Tuesday, December 1, at 1 PM CT in the funeral home chapel officiated by Bro. Dennis Bunch and Bro. Mayburn Guess. Interment will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
