Fern Elizabeth Timberlake Woodall, 94 life-long resident of Stevenson, Alabama died November 13, 2010 at Memorial Health Care System in Chattanooga, TN. Fern was one of eight daughters of the late Claude Russell and Bessie Haddon Timberlake born April 22, 1916 in Stevenson, AL. Mrs. Woodall was a member of First United Methodist Church. She had been a beautician and co-owner of Ideal Beauty Shop.
Besides her parents, Fern was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Herbert "C.H." Woodall and six sisters.
Survivors include her sister Mary Timberlake Alred of Stevenson, AL; nephews: George (Eleanor) Alred of Jasper, TN, Andrew Wright of Spring City, TN; niece Elizabeth "Beth" (Jeff) Stephens of Nolensville, TN; great- and great-great-nieces and nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Sunday, 1-3 PM CT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will begin at 3 PM in the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Bill Stone. Interment will be at the Stevenson City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Fern Woodall to the First United Methodist Church in Stevenson, AL.
