Ferrell Hayes Bradford, 73 of Scottsboro, AL formerly of Bridgeport, AL, died January 24, 2012 at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro, AL. Ferrell is the son of the late Hayes and Eula Lee Westbrook Bradford born January 20, 1939 in Almont, TN. He had worked as a molder at Jacobs Mfg. and had worked at Maples. Ferrell served in the Alabama National Guard in Bridgeport, AL from 1964-67 and was of the Baptist faith.
Besides his parents, Mr. Bradford was preceded in death by his son Allen C. Bradford and siblings Marcel Bradford and Elizabeth Howard.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years Janie Sue Stewart Bradford; son Damon Bradford and granddaughter Anna Nicole Bradford all of Scottsboro, AL; sister Mary (Claude) Gilley of Bridgeport, AL.
Visitation will be Wednesday 4-9 PM CT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will be 11 AM CT Thursday, January 26, at the funeral chapel officiated by the VFW Post 6073 Chaplain Rev. Daniel Gonzales and Rev. Nicky Culpepper. Interment will be at the Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson, TN. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com.
