Mrs. Florence Texas Powell's Obituary
Florence Texas Powell, age 95 of Woodville, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 with family by her side at Highlands Health and Rehab. She is survived by her sons, Robert E., Jr and Marie Powell, and Eugene and Nancy Powell; grandchildren, Tracy and Peggy Powell, Stacy and Trina Powell, Anthony and Mary Powell, Beverly Powell, and Misty Powell; great grandchildren, Dakota Powell, Brooke Winkles, Ashley Guerin, Shelby Powell, Barry Powell, Tasha Casey, Chelsey Casey, Erica Powell, Colby Powell, Joseph Powell, and Ethan Little; brother, Bill and Sara Edwards; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, R.E. Powell; parents, Walter and Margie Edwards; brother and sister in law, Jimmie and Daisy Edwards. Pallbearers will be Anthony, Erica, Dakota, and Barry Powell, and Justin and Daniel Edwards. Visitation for Mrs. Powell will be Monday, April 23 from 6-9pm at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. The funeral service will be Tuesday, April 24 at 2pm in the funeral home chapel. Bro. Bud Durham and Bro. Ed Harbin will officiate, and burial will follow at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
