Mr. Frank Davis was born to the late Andy and Ida Bell Ellison Davis, March 31, 1936, in Scottsboro, AL.
He departed this life August 28, 2023 in Chattanooga, TN.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, a son, Wayne Davis and the mothers of his children,
sisters, Hattie Lou Boyd, and Ella Cole, brothers, Jessie Boyd, Walter Davis, Cherry Davis
and Tink Cothron, son-in-law, Rev. Billy Earl, nephew Jessie Boyd Jr, sister-in-law’s, Mary Boyd,
Elizabeth Boyd, brother-in-law, Walter Cole. He leaves to cherish his fond memories,
4 daughters, Rebecca (Billy) McCamey, Lois Earl, Jean (Grady) Davis, all of Scottsboro, AL,
Regina Davis of Chattanooga, TN, 4 sons, Frank (Brenda) Davis Jr., Troy Davis, Jerry (Marie) Davis, Undral (Reba) Davis of Stevenson, AL, 2 brothers, Cecil Davis of Center, AL, Andy Davis of Nashville, TN, 33 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Rudder Funeral Home of Scottsboro, Al,
from 1 ~ 2 p.m, with Funeral Services beginning at 2 p.m., with Rev. George Allen Clay officiating. Interment will follow at Old Baptist Cemetery, Hollywood, AL.
