Franklin Lee "Frankie" Mayes, 49 of Stevenson, AL, died April 25, 2016 at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, AL. Franklin was the son of the late Melvin and Elizabeth Ann Thompson Mayes, born May 6, 1966 in Scottsboro, AL. He was a member of the Stevenson Holiness Church.
"Frankie" was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Calvin and Billy Mayes.
He is survived by his siblings: Melvin Mayes, Jr., Catherine (Bobby) Pace, Gary (Barbara) Mayes, Jimmy (Linda) Mayes, Pat (Marvin) Barnes; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Wednesday and Thursday 10 AM-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The Funeral Service will be Friday, April 29, at 11 AM CDT in the funeral home chapel officiated by Bro. Norman Ingram and Bro. Bobby Smart.
