Freddie Humphrey's Obituary
FREDDIE HUMPHREY was born in Hollywood, Alabama on September 10, 1937 to the late Charles (Hub) and Susie Humphrey.
He worked for the Tennessee Valley Authority for a number of years. For 24 years, Freddie was employed by Jackson Paving Company in Guntersville, Alabama as a heavy machine mechanic. As a faithful employee, he had perfect attendance. Freddie loved his job and his extended family. He was nominated in February 2004 as Employee of the Month.
Freddie departed this life suddenly of October 7, 2011. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted daughter; Tracie Humphrey- Miller of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, grandchildren; Ramon (Alex), KeShaun, devoted friend; Anita Machado, sons; Oscar (LaTonia) Humphrey, Chattanooga, Tennessee, Michael Humphrey, Texas, Alonzo Humphrey, Philadelphia, Pa., siblings; Elizabeth Washington, Hollywood, Alabama, Sarah Kendall & Creasie Hunter, Cleveland, Ohio, Herbert Humphrey, Warrensville Heights, Ohio, George (Ruby) Humphrey , Cleveland, Ohio, Eddie (Josie ) Humphrey & Richard Humphrey, Hollywood, Alabama; brother -in-law James Chappell; eight grand children , four great grand children , a host of nieces and nephews, church family and coworkers.
