Gene Kelley Marable Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Gene Kelley Marable, Sr. of Hollywood, Alabama gained his heavenly wings September 15, 2022, he was 87. Mr. Marable was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Shriners. He was a member of the IBEW 175 of Chattanooga, Tennessee for 66 years. He served in the Army as a paratrooper from 1953 until 1956. Mr. Marable owned TransSouth Industrial Contractors. Mr. Marable is survived by his children: Gene (Becky) Marable, Terri Gilbert, Donna Marable, Heath (Jamie) Marable; Grandchildren: Brandi Currie, Nathan Durham, Brooke Burton, Joey (Felicia) Gilbert, Jeremy Gilbert, Blake Burton, Tyler Marable, Hunter Marable; great grandchildren: Jasmine, Austin, Cameron, Kattie, Chandler, Logan, Jayclee, Brantley; Sons-in-Law: Tim Currie, Roger Burton; Special Friends: Wade and William Dubose. Preceded in death by: Wife, Catherine Marable; Daughters, Deborah Burton and Darlene Currie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro from 5-8:00PM.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Rudder Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro beginning at 2:00PM with burial to follow in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood, Alabama.
