Gene Douglas Webster
December 22, 1942 – January 3, 2024 -
Gene Douglas “Doug” Webster age 81 of Dutton, Alabama died at his residence on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. He was a graduate of Pisgah High School, Class of 1962, and had worked as a welder at Earnest Holmes Company in Chattanooga.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ann Mantooth Webster, two sisters, Peg Webster McDonald and husband Marion, Jan Webster Stringer and husband Jim and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Smith Webster and Zinnia Headrick Webster and three brothers and two sisters.
Per his request, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 6, at 1:00 PM at Pleasant View Cemetery, Dutton, AL.
In lieu of flowers the family request that a donation be sent to, Pleasant View Cemetery Association, 3727 County Road 378, Dutton, AL 35744, in honor of Doug.
