George Peter “Pete” Amrhein, Sr. 80, of Scottsboro, died Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Amrhein was originally from Baltimore Maryland. He came to Scottsboro with Revere Copper and Brass in 1968, which became Scottsboro Aluminum . He retired from there in
He was a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus #7679 4th Degree, Assembly #1084,
VFW # 6694, American Legion #237, Moose Lodge #1802.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jennell  Amrhein, daughters; Norma (Larry) Helms of Pleasant Grove,
Darlene (Ralph, Jr.)Warren, of Skyline.
Son, George Peter (Kathy) Amrhein, Jr., Hixon, TN, step-sons; Tony Lynn (Sandy) Stubblefield, Huntsville AL, Doyle (Judy) Stubblefield of Petal, Miss., Kenneth Wayne (Angel) Stubblefield of Scottsboro.
Sisters; Mary Smith, of Baltimore, Md., Cathrine Alvey of Callahan, Fla., Emma Ruble of Baltimore, Md.
And Rose Marie Lewis of Irmo, S.C.
Brother, Joseph Amrhein of Glenn Burnie, Md.
Grandchildren; Christy (Joe) Lindsey, Krystle (Nick) Baugh, Brittany Stubblefield, Meagan Amrhein, Kristopher Amrhein, Kimberli Helms, Margaret “Maggie” Warren, and Zachary Stubblefield.
Great-grandchildren; Jacob Baugh, Luke Baugh, Madelynn Warren.
