Geraldean Hinkles Holt, 71 of Whitwell, TN, died December 6, 2010 at her home. Ellie Geraldean was the daughter of the late Alfred and Callie Daffern Hinkles born September 19, 1939 in Jasper, TN. She was of the Holiness faith and had worked as a housekeeper.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by her siblings: John Hinkles, Earnest Keel and Linda Smith.
Survivors include: her husband Clarence Macklin Holt of Scottsboro, AL; children: James M. (Vickie) Holt of GA, Clarence D. (Romonah) Holt of Scottsboro, AL, Reba J. (Victor Poe) Holt of Whitwell, TN, William M. Holt of Scottsboro, AL, Gregory L. (Shirley) Holt of AL.; 13 Grandchildren; 15 Great-Grandchildren; siblings: Jr. Hinkles of Hollywood, AL, Joyce Davis of GA, Jean Roe of South Pittsburg, TN; a host of other relatives.
Visitation will be 10 A.M. ~ 2 P.M. CT Wednesday at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral will begin at 2 PM CT Wednesday, December 8, at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Titus Hinkles. Interment will be at the St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Bridgeport, AL. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
