GERALDEAN CHANDLER WANN Gearldean Chandler Wann went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. Born on May 10, 1940, to Rev. Prince and Rita Smith in Kyles, Alabama, Gearldean lived a life marked by devotion, love, and faith. A cherished wife and mother, Gearldean was blessed to share 53 years of marriage with Aubrey “Moe” Chandler.A graduate of Jackson County High School, Class of 1958, Gearldean was a charter member of Trinity Baptist Church, serving faithfully for over 50 years. Music and worship were lifelong passions, reflected in loyal service as a dedicated member of the church choir. A long and respected career was spent with Harbin Ford Motor Company as a bookkeeper before retirement.Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Bradley and Staci Chandler; grandchildren McCall Chandler and Cash Chandler; sister Alta Hall; brother-in-law Paul Ray Chandler (Pat); and several nieces and nephews.Preceding Gearldean in death were husband of 53 years Aubrey “Moe” Chandler; second husband John Wann; parents Rev. Prince and Rita Smith; brother-in-law Billy Joe Chandler (Mildred); sister-in-law Louise Guffey (Rayford); and brother-in-law Clarence Hall.Because of her devout faith in Christ, we can celebrate that she lives forever in heaven. Visitation will be held at Trinity Baptist Church on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Pinehaven Cemetery. Flowers are accepted, but memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Baptist Church Mission Fund at 809 Byron Road, Scottsboro, Alabama.
