Geraldine Johnson Mantooth's Obituary
Peggy Geraldine Mantooth went to her heavenly home on December 21, 2025.
Geraldine was a dedicated to serving the Lord and was grounded in her faith. She was known for her gentle spirit and love for her family, as well as her friends. She will be remembered for her devotion to the Lord and her family.
She is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Bobby Mantooth. Their children Trenda (Dennis) Johnson and Alan (Stephanie) Mantooth. Grandchildren, Raeah Etherton (Wade), Rachel Porter (Sean), Justin Wilson, Laurel Mantooth. Great grandchildren Jamon Etherton, Gentry Etherton, and Allie Rae Etherton. Sisters, Joan Steele (Warney), Betty Wilkinson (Stanley), Phyllis Guess (Wayne), Annette Smith. Brothers, Kenny Johnson (Kathy), Benny Johnson (Pat), Larry Johnson (Amelia). And many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, JC and Mary Lou Johnson and brother-in-law David Smith.
Visitation will be held on Monday December 22, 2025 at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro from 5-8:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 beginning at 2:00PM in Rudder Funeral Home Chapel with Bro Dennis Johnson and Bro. David Crawford officiating with burial to follow in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
