Gladys Sue Garner's Obituary
Gladys Sue Venable Garner, age 89 of Stevenson, passed away Sunday, October 06, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family and friends. Visitation will be held, Monday, October 7, 2019 from 4-9:00PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 beginning at 11:00AM in Rudder Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Buster McCulley, Bro. Doyle Chamblee, Bro. Roy Venable, Bro. Joey Guess, and Bro. Ronnie Day officiating. Interment will follow in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood, Alabama.
Sue is survived by her children, Ronald (Deborah) Garner of Fackler, Kathleen (Faron) McCulley of Hollywood, Sheila (Tommy) Whitaker of Gurley, Jimmy Garner of Fackler, and Sharon (Robbie) Hass of Stevenson; Grandchildren, Jody Beth (G.T.) Miller, Amelia (J.D.) Shrader, Savannah Garner, Jacob Muir, Emily Muir, Brittany Garner, Jordan Garner, and Heath Hass, Whitney Hass; Greatgrandchildren, Anna Beth Miller, Henry Thomas Miller, Aidan Shrader, Baby Shrader, and Memphis Thompson; Brothers and Sisters, Faye McCulley, Robert Venable, Roy Venable, Ruth Overton, Ray Venable; Special Caregiver and friend Alma Burchette; and Special Friend, Joey Guess.
Preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, RV Garner; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Robert and Ada Frances Arnold Venable; brothers, Wallace and Larry Venable; and sister, Imogene Cookson.
Sue was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
