Glenda Faye Gossett Roden's Obituary
Glenda Faye Gossett Roden passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016
after a long and very courageous battle. She was born in Stevenson,
Alabama to the late Roy Edward and Daisy Marie Phillips Gossett and
moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee, after her marriage to J.C. Roden.
She is now joined by her beloved sister, Patsy Davis. Faye will be forever
loved and mourned by her brother Phillip Gossett of Saarland, Germany,
step-son: Danny (Hoss) & Geneva Roden of Rossville, GA. Nieces: Margaret
(Wayne) Probst of Montgomery, AL, Marylin Gossett of Nohfelden,
Germany, and Sarrah Gossett of Saarland, Germany; Jessica Davis of
Montgomery, AL. Nephew: Raymond (Kim) Davis of Montgomery, AL;
Great-nephews: Riley Davis, Joshua Gossett, Jascha Gossett. Great-nieces:
Brianna Davis, and four step-grandchildren Chris, Daniel, Heather and T.J
Roden.
Faye was very complex and had a tough life. She was strong and loving
and did everything she could for those she loved and that loved her.
Whenever you’d see her smile, you’d know she had a heart of gold. She
was 69 years old.
