Grady Lamar "Marty" Bowen, 63 of Flat Rock, AL died August 23, 2011 at his home. "Marty" born July 26, 1948 in Flat Rock, AL. He had been the Regional Sales Manager at Covington Power Services. Mr. Bowen was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Alhambra Shriner and Masonic Lodge 677 in Ider, AL.
"Marty" was preceded in death by his father Grady Hermit Bowen.
Survivors include his wife Linda Gay Roach Bowen of Flat Rock, AL; mother Claudine "Boots" Lambert Bowen of Flat Rock; children: Lamar (Lisa) Bowen of Scottsboro, AL, Terry (Jade) Bowen of Stevenson, AL; grandchildren: Trey and Braden Bowen; step-grandsons: Chris and Zachary Blaisdell; sister: Dianne (James) Kesler of Flat Rock.
Visitation will be Wednesday, 2-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 25, at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in the Smith Cemetery in Flat Rock.
