Mr. Harold Lynn Thomas' Obituary
Harold Lynn Thomas 68 of Fackler went to be with his heavenly Father on June 29, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Harold was born on May 26, 1954 to Ray and Ilene Thomas. He was a Pisgah High School graduate. He has been employed with Maples Industries since August of 1976. He was a member of The House of Prayer at Crow Mountain. He was a very loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and son.
He is survived by wife LaVerne of 29 years, one son Duane (Misty) Thomas, one daughter Kimberly Clements, 12 grandchildren; Jordan, Tucker, Tyson, and Lakin Venable, Noah Parker, Alex Devor, Aubrey, Aaron and Aiden Thomas, Faith Clements, Charleigh Grace Provens, Everleigh McCarver and one great grandchild Sophia. Father-in-law Jimmy Bohannon. 4 sisters; Polly Hutcheson, Loretta (Sonny) Allen, Linda (Greg) Loveless, Rita Thomas, Theresa Willmon & Annie Willmon, 2 brothers Leon (Loretta) Thomas, Don (Inez) Willmon. 6 nieces and 2 nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, brothers Donald Thomas, Dale and Arnold Willmon, Son Keith Venable, mother-in-law Janie Bohannon, special niece Holly Willmon, Nephew Roger Willmon, and great niece Dakota Schuelke.
Visitation will be held Friday July 1, 2022 at Rudder Funeral Home from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday July 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel, Scottsboro with Bro. Pete Hess and Bro. Dennis Johnson officiating.
Interment will be at the Austell Cemetery in Crow Mountain, Alabama.
