Mr Harry Macon Travis' Obituary
Harry Macon Travis, age 87, of Scottsboro, AL passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019.
Harry was the owner and manager of City Auto Parts for 25 years, and was a lifetime member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday school for many years.
Harry is survived by his daughter, Teresa (Lanny) Chambless-Aspel, grandchildren, Justin Chambless, Travis (Michaela) Powers, and Eric Powers, sister, Carolyn Schrunk, niece, Stephanie (Leo) LoSciuto, and his nephew, Jesse (Melva) Schrunk.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Joy Travis, his daughter and son in law, Sheila and David Powers, parents, Ira and Gladys Travis, and his brother-in-law, Ray Schrunk.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 6 PM until 8 PM at the Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro.
Funeral service for Mr. Travis will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro with Dr. Robert Gamble officiating. Burial will follow in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
