Hilda Page Thomas, 94, of Scottsboro, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019 at Highlands Health and Rehab.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday April 17, 2019 at 2 PM at Rudder Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro, Alabama with Elder Grady Kilpatrick officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery in Woodville, Alabama.
Mrs. Thomas and her husband, Buron E. Thomas had been married 55 years at the time of his death in 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents, P. Tom Page and Bessie Hodges Page, two sisters, Olive Page Stewart and Gertie Page Skelton, and one brother, Bud Page.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by her Godchild and husband, Betsy and Charles Swinford, two great Godchildren and their wives, Chris and Quincey Swinford, Austin and Sammie Swinford, her extended family Earl and Bettye Bradford.
She was Valedictorian of her graduating class of Woodville High School in 1942. After her secretarial career of 44 years in textiles, she retired from Fieldcrest Mills in 1986.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 17, 2019 from 12-2 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro, Alabama with a service to honor her life in the chapel.
