Hope Jane Marie Gibson, 44 of Titusville, FL died January 4, 2010 at her home. She was the daughter of Robert Jean and Ethel June Abbott Gibson, Sr., born December 1, 1965 in Titusville, FL. She was a registered nurse and a member of Abbott Chapel Church. Hope brought joy and laughter to her family, friends and all who knew her. She was a compassionate and loving caregiver to her patients. Her zest for life and her strong faith in God never wavered. Our lives have been made richer by our precious Hopie and we miss her, but have comfort that she is with her Heavenly Father.
Hope was preceded in death by her father Robert "Bobby" Gibson, Sr. and brother Robert "Robbie" Gibson, Jr.
She is survived by her mother June Abbott Gibson of Titusville, FL; brother Joseph C. (Kathy) Gibson of FL; nieces and nephews: Lauryn, Robert Lee, Caleb, Michael and Samantha Gibson.
Visitation will be Thursday, 5-9 PM CT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. The funeral will be Friday, January 8, at 2 PM CT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Bro. Don Abbott followed by interment at Abbott Chapel Cemetery in Bridgeport.
