Hubert Linzie "Red" Fagg, 87 of Stevenson, AL, died April 14, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital. Hubert was the son of the late James Taylor and Flora Mae Armstrong Fagg, Born June 27, 1928 in Decherd, TN. "Red" was a Korean War U.S. Army Veteran. He was a retired welder at the General Motors Willow Springs, IL Plant. Hubert was a member of First Baptist Church and VFW Post 10564.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joyce Ann Dunn Fagg; children: James (Shelia) Fagg of Murfreesboro, TN, Yovonda (Ken) Cornelison of Skyline, AL, Kim (Michael) Phillips of Dawson, AL; grandchildren: Daniel McCanless and Samantha Hayes of Murfreesboro, TN, Cathy and Matt Parr of Fort Campbell, KY, Micheal Fagg of Murfreesboro, TN, Patrick McCanless and Courtney Spatz of Scottsboro, AL; great-grandchildren: Gemma and Jackson Parr.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Dorothy Winters, Thomas Edward Fagg and James Parker Fagg.
Visitation will be Friday, 5-9 PM CDT and Saturday 10 AM-12PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 16, at 12 Noon in the funeral home chapel officiated by Bro. Larry Glass.
