Isaiah Hill Jr's Obituary
Isaiah Hill, Jr. 70 of Bridgeport, Alabama, died February 11, 2018 at his home. Isaiah was born March 29, 1947 in Bridgeport, Alabama to the late Isaiah Hill, Sr. and Frances Allison of Bridgeport, Alabama. He is survived by his wife Sandra Mae Blair Hill of Bridgeport; daughter Salene Hill and granddaughter Ashley Hill of Indianapolis, Indiana; brother Fred L. Hill of Cleveland, Tennessee. Isaiah was also preceded in death by his daughter Veronica Hill. Isaiah served in the U. S. Navy between 1965-1970 and was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. Isaiah worked for the Tennessee Valley Authority for 35 years as a civil engineer surveyor. He was a dedicated preacher at Alhouse Church of Christ in Bridgeport, and at Elm Street Church of Christ in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. He enjoyed family, work, math, drafting, welding and reading. He was a avid fisherman, hunter and gardener. Isaiah will be missed by family, cousin Velma Hale and friends.
Isaiah will have a Graveside Service at Lloyd Cemetery, 962 County Road 94, between U.S. Highway 72 and Alabama Highway 277, Bridgeport, Alabama on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 1:00 PM.
