Mrs. Jackye Slaten's Obituary
Mrs. Jackye Slaten, age 76 of Scottsboro, AL, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016. She is survived by her husband, Gene Slaten; son, Chip and Tanya Slaten of Scottsboro; daughters, Shawn Slaten and Ronnie Durham of Harrison, TN, and Kelly Slaten and Carl Vicars of Harrison, TN; grandchildren, Brooke Slaten, Jake Slaten, Bailey Lakin, Dannielle Vicars, and Andrew Vicars; brother, Tommy Caperton of Whiteville, NC; sister, Sara Caperton of Chattanooga, TN; as well as several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Betty McCampbell Caperton. A memorial service for Mrs. Slaten will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. Condolences may be made at www.rudderfuneralhomes.com.
