Mr. James Albert "Doc" Campbell's Obituary
James Albert “Doc” Campbell was born February 4, 1935 to the late Bob and Susie Tolliver. Doc passed away peacefully at Cloverdale Rehab Center in Scottsboro, AL on August 13, 2024. Doc was a faithful and loyal member for many years of Greater St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Scottsboro, Alabama. He knew the Lord as his personal savior. He talked and walked the life of a forgiven man seeking the face of God. He served in several positions within the church. Doc was a member of Keystone Masonic Temple #40 in Huntsville. He also was worshipful master of Masonic Temple in Scottsboro, Alabama during its active period. Most importantly he was a warrior for God. “Doc” was preceded in death by both parents, loving wife Ruby L. Campbell; eldest son, Richelle M. Campbell; daughters, Celie Tolliver, Rena Clay; sister, Mary Gains; brothers, John W. Tolliver, Tip Tolliver, Judy Tolliver, Charlie Tolliver, and Lawrence Campbell. He leaves his smile and fond memories of his love to his children and family: Grandson, Jason Tolliver, Atlanta, Georgia;
