James Paul Blankenship, age 65 of Scottsboro, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Charlene; daughter, Heather (Eric) Baine; son, Ben Blankenship (Misty Stephens); granddaughter, Ashlynn Blankenship; brothers, Dale, Don, Joe, and Wiley; sisters, Wanda Cagle, Nell Roberts, and Shirley Rose. Visitation for Paul is Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 6-9 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. The funeral service is Friday, July 28, 2017 at 2 PM at Trinity Baptist Church, with Bro. Duaine Griggs and Bro. Chris Murdock officiating. Burial will follow at Mtn. View Memory Gardens in Rainsville. Condolences may be made at www.rudderfuneralhomes.com.
