Mr. James D. (JD) Cothron was born on May 21, 1942 to the late Hubert Sr. and Mary Lou Cothron. He departed this life on March 14, 2019.
He confessed his life to Christ at an early age. He was a member and choir member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife: Annie Ruth Cothron: Two Stepsons: Otis (Sophia) Moore, Huntsville, AL., Isaac (Rochelle) Moore, Scottsboro, AL.; Five Grand Children: Desiree and Jeffrey (Cassie) Moore of Scottsboro, AL., Coy Moore, Auburn, AL., Dion (Katrina) Moore, Jacksonville, NC., Deonta Moore, Huntsville, AL.; Five Great Grandchildren Ja’Marion Russell, JaKobi Kilgore, Abrianna Jeffrey and Makera Moore, Scottsboro, AL.; Four Sisters: Rosie Tucker of Hollywood, AL., Katie Toney of Huntsville, AL., Janis (James) Crawford of Manchester, TN. and Faye Cothron of LaVergne, TN.; Three Brothers: Otis Cothron of Scottsboro, AL., Rayford (Geraldine) Cothron of Bridgeport, AL., and Tommy (Ilene) Cothron of Hollywood, AL.; One Sister in-law: Dorothy Jean Cullins of Scottsboro, AL.; Two Aunts: Matilda Fox of Chicago, IL. and Lena Clay of South Pittsburgh, TN.: and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mr. James D. (JD) Cothron was preceded in death by three sisters: Luella Cothron King, Iomia Cothron Knight, and Mary Lynn Cothron; Two brothers Hubert Cothron Jr., and Robert L. Cothron.
