Mr James Hubert Davis' Obituary
Mr James Hubert Davis 79 of Scottsboro passed away on Tuesday May 5, 2026
at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro, Alabama. James lived in Lebanon,
Tennessee before moving to Scottsboro to work at the Revere Copper and Brass
Plant where he retired as General foreman. He was also a wood worker making
furniture like the crib for his great Grandchildren and a host of other things.
James is survived by his wife Brenda Davis, his children son Warren (Rita) Davis,
daughter Deborah (Robert) Sebring, grandchildren Bob Sebring, and Clint (Taylor)
Sebring, two great grandchildren Jude and Emilia Sebring, Wayne Davis, Selmond
(Teresa) Davis, Roger (Kim Martin) Davis; sisters Winnie Reed, Jo Peek, Brenda (Hoyt)
West and Gail Marrs, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Lake and Virginia Davis and his brothers Carol Davis, Buddy Davis and
Walter Davis.
The family will receive friends on Saturday May 9, 2026 at the Rudder Funeral Home in
Scottsboro starting at 12 noon until 2 pm with funeral services to follow at 2 pm in the chapel of Rudder Funeral Home with Bro David Morman officiating burial will follow in
Cedar Hill Cemetery. Rudder Funeral Home Scottsboro is in charge of arrangements.
