James Edward Sebring's Obituary
James Edward Sebring, 81 of Bridgeport, AL, died January 20, 2018 at Vantage Point Village in Ashland City, TN. James was the son of the late David Edward and Mary Katherine Harris Sebring, born March 2, 1936 in Richard City, TN. He was a Bridgeport High School Graduate Class of 1955, served in the National Guard, and worked as a supervisor at U.S. Stove. James was a member of Bridgeport Church of Christ and Board of Directors of Rocky Springs Cemetery.
Besides his parents, James was preceded in death by his wives Helen Delores Reeves Sebring and Louise Ball Taylor Sebring; and daughter Katherine Cleo Sebring.
Survivors include his daughter: Patti Celeste (Jerry) Morris of Charlotte, TN; grandchildren Sid and Chase; Step children: Jeff (Connie) Taylor of South Pittsburg, TN, David (Betsy) Taylor of Anniston, AL, Elizabeth (Ron) Kramer of Wallington, CO; 8 additional grandchildren; sister Mary Frances Mathis of Warrior, AL; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mr. Sebring requested to be cremated with no service. The family has asked that in celebration of his life, you plant a beautiful flower, feed hummingbirds or cardinals or simply do an act of kindness in his memory. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
