James Lester Sexton's Obituary
James Lester Sexton, 90, of Bridgeport, Alabama, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022, at his home. He was a member of the Olive Branch Masonic Lodge, he was an Alhambra Temple Shriner, and was a part of the Tin Lizzies Parade Group. James was also a Sargent in the Army, the founder of the Babe Ruth Little League in Bridgeport, Alabama, Radio DJ Hobbist, and Play by Play for the Bridgeport Tigers. He was a BBI volunteer.
James is survived by his daughter, Karan (Tom III) Sims, Sister, Janet Sexton, Grandchildren, Tom Sims IV, Anna Grace Sims, Jamie Sexton, Great Grandchild, Tom Sims V, and Dear family friend, Ricky Hogshed.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Payne Sexton, Parents, Pauline Marie Reeves & Irving Lester Sexton, Sister Nancy Easley, Son, Eddie Sexton.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport from 4:00 P.M until 7:00 P.M. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at The Chattanooga National Cemetery in Chattanooga TN, beginning at 11:30 CST.
