James Walter "Skip" Gothard, Jr., 60 a life-long resident of Bridgeport, AL, died August 26, 2009 at his home. He had worked at Jacobs Mfg. and Bridgeport Lumber and Crate Co. during his lifetime and before he became ill.
Mr. Gothard was preceded in death by his parents James Walter and Ida Elizabeth Warren Gothard, Sr.; nephew Jason Gothard and brother-in-law Bill Graham.
Skip is survived by his sister Denise Graham of Bridgeport; brothers: Roger Gothard, Gary (Mary) Gothard, Mike (Kisha Suddath) Gothard and special brother David Carver, all of Bridgeport and Danny (Cindy) Gothard of Jasper, TN; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, 5-9 PM CDT and Friday 10 AM - 9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport. The funeral will be 2 PM CDT, Saturday, August 29, at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. George Maynor and Rev. David Gudger followed by burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Bridgeport, AL.
