Janet Ellen Bean Ivey, 59 of Stevenson, AL died August 13, 2008 at her home. She attended Wannville Baptist Church.
Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Ivey; parents Ernest Clyde and Rubye Jewell Owens Bean; and brother Jerry Wayne Bean.
She is survived by her children: Kayla (Michael) Garrard of Stevenson, Terry Wilson of Scottsboro, AL, Michael (Denise) Rorex of Skyline, AL, Kelly (Jeff) Pike of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren: Christopher Woodruff, Brittany Woodruff, Mattison Glass, Dylan Garrard, Amber Pittman, Casey Wilson, Justin Rorex, Ethan Rorex, Jessie Woodall, Aaron Thomas, Travis Thomas, Hannah Beavers, Tyler Beavers; two great-grandchildren; siblings: Betty Clyde Kennedy of Stevenson, Paul (Gwen) Bean of Estill Springs, AL, Mary Jean Bean of Stevenson; a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, 5-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral will be Friday, August 15, at 2 PM CDT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Dustin Henshaw and Rev. Jeff Pike followed by burial at Longacre Cemetery in Stevenson.
