Mrs. Janie Johnson Bohannon, age 89 of Fackler, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020.
She is survived by her husband: Jimmy Bohannon; sons: Arnold (Annie Ruth) Willmon, Don (Inez) Willmon; daughters: LaVerne (Harold) Thomas, Theresa Willmon & Terry Trice; grandchildren: Katrina Willmon, Vonda Scott, Valerie Rodgers, Michael Chambers, Duane Thomas, Kim Thomas; 23 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; brother’s: Denford Johnson and Wendell Johnson; sister: Betty Faye Bohanon and several nieces and nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Jasper Aaron Johnson and Velma Warren Johnson; son: Dale Willmon; granddaughter: Holly Willmon; grandsons: Roger Willmon and Keith Venable; great great granddaughter: Ella Faith McClure; brothers: William and Lonnie Johnson; sisters: Dorothy Summers, Mary Lou Gilliam and Jewel Wynn.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 from 5 PM until 8 PM at the Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro, Alabama.
Janie Bohannon will lie in state from 11 AM until 2 PM at the House of Prayer Church in Fackler, Alabama.
Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 PM with Bro. Jimmy Bohannon officiating. Burial into Austell Cemetery in Fackler, Alabama will follow immediately after the Celebration of Life service.
