Jean Stubblefield Cunningham, 94 of Bridgeport, AL, died January 12, 2017 at Cumberland Health and Rehabilitation. Jean was the daughter of the late George Henry "Bud" and Daisy Alice Guess Stubblefield born September 18, 1922 in Jackson County Alabama. She was a WWII U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and had worked as a cashier, clerk and manager at the Dime Store in Bridgeport and at Barham's Grocery.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband David Lorin Cunningham, Sr; siblings: William "Bill" Stubblefield, John Thomas Stubblefield, Clara Morris, and Dorothy "Dot" Hicks.
Survivors include: her sons David and Cathy Cunningham, Don and Brenda Cunningham all of Bridgeport, AL; grandsons: Arlo Cunningham and Jacob Cunningham; great-grandchildren: Kyle, Kilee, Brady and Chloe.
Visitation will be Friday 5-9 PM, Saturday 2-9 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The Funeral Service will be Sunday, January 15, at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel officiated by Bro. Wayne McAllister. Interment will be in Stevenson City Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
