Jennie Lee Blansett Wilson, 83 of Orme, TN, died November 21, 2011 in Jacksonville, FL. Jennie was the daughter of the late Arthur Scott and Martha Daisy Dawson Blansett, Sr. born August 9, 1929 in Orme, TN. She was a member of the Church of God and the best cook you ever met.
Besides her parents, Jennie was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years William "Bill" Wilson; brothers and sisters-in-law: Scott (Jenny Ruth Cagle) Blansett, Jr., William (Bertha Golf) Blansett, Edward "Big Boy" Blansett, Harold Blansett, nephews whom she helped raise: William Blansett and Harold Wayne Blansett.
Survivors include: daughters: Ella Sue Norman of Jasper, TN, Phyllis Ann (Robert) Stevens of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren: Jennifer Lee Acuff (Ronnie) Milton Sr. of Jacksonville, FL, Christopher Edwin Appleton of Jasper, TN, Jason William (Tiffany) Acuff, Sr. of Jacksonville, FL, Adam Heath Carson of Jacksonville, FL, Tracy Nicole Appleton of Jasper, TN; great-grandchildren: Jason Acuff, Jr., Ronald Milton, Jr. Destiny Carson, Daisy Milton, Matthew Carson, Alyssa Carson, Brandon Carson; nephews: Donald Blansett, James Jackson, Freddie Blansett; nieces: Donna Blevins, Rhonda Blansett; and a host of other relatives.
Visitation will be Friday, 5-8 PM CT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral will be Saturday, November 26, at 2 PM CT at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
