Jewel Wilkerson Privett, 91 of Stevenson, AL, died February 4, 2017 at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro, AL. Jewel was the daughter of the late Joseph Wheeler and Willie Mae Rogers Wilkerson, born May 5, 1925 in Sherwood, TN. She had worked as a clerk for the government commodities. She participated in the Senior Center activities in Stevenson. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jess Richard Privett; children: Elizabeth Breeden, Rebecca Guess, Richard, Johnny, Tommy, and David Privett.
Survivors include her children: Sue Green of Section, AL, Nancy Fuller of Fyffe, AL, Sandra (Danny) Peacock of Stevenson, AL, Rose (Steve) Coffman of Scottsboro, AL; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Visitation will be Monday 12-8 PM CT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will be Tuesday, February 7, at 3 PM CT in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Stevenson City Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
