Jewell “Judy” Baker Green, 79 of Stevenson, AL, died December 26, 2012 at Huntsville Hospital. Jewell was the daughter of the late Daniel Pete and Beatrice Holder Baker born August 25, 1933 in Jackson Co. Alabama. She had worked as an LPN at North Jackson Hospital. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and Alabama Nursing Association.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James William “Bill” Green and sons Ronald Dale, Donald Ray and James Dennis Green.
Survivors include her daughters: Diane (Bill) Coby of Guntersville, AL, Brenda (Thomas) Blevins of Huntsville, AL; grandsons: Rodney (Yevette Halman) Barnett of Murfreesboro, TN, Reggie (Tina) Barnett of Huntsville, AL; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers: Billy (Ester) Baker of Colorado Springs, CO, Randy (Mary) Baker of Calera, AL; niece Susan Baker; special friends: Clara Lawson, Sheila and Anthony Kirk.
Visitation will be Friday 5-8 PM CT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral will be Saturday, December 29, at 2 PM CT at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Price Cemetery in Hollywood, AL.
