I was unaware of Mr. Allison’s passing until today. I was a neighbor of his when I was a baby until I was about 9 years old. I ran in to him about 5 years ago and he looked exactly the same to me. We shared a great conversation and it was hard to believe he also recognized me after almost 40 years. I always loved Mr. Jim and Mrs. Betty and I have very fond memories of both of them. My parents and brother also loved him as well. He truly was a kind soul. - Cassandra H. Adkins
Uncle Jimmie you will be miss very deeply. I always remember you coming to visit us when we came on vacation and alot more memories.

Papa Jim was not only kind to everyone he met but he was caring and compassionate. He never judged another but would always try to find common ground and understanding with them. He may be gone but he will never be forgotten. Between him and Fred I couldn’t have had better role models to shape me into who I am today.
